Mission

At AIRCOCFD, our mission is to swiftly deliver trust-worthy, high quality, cost-effective CFD consulting that enhances the operational efficiency and reliability of data centres worldwide. Each project is treated with utmost devotion, professionalism and disclosure.

Approach

Using the industry leading state of the art CFD software Reality DC Design of Cadence (formerly known as 6Sigma by Future Facilities), we analyse and optimise airflow and cooling systems to ensure your data centre operates at peak efficiency. The CFD models we develop are built within the CFD software, based on Revit, Revizto, AutoCAD, Navisworks or PDF drawings, ensuring accurate representation, and allowing quick model adjustments to quickly evaluate design variations. We put a lot of attention on detailed input collection, as for Data Centre CFD studies the motto ‘Garbage In – Garbage Out’ is very much valid and can be critical. The CFD simulations are run on our own local workstations, emphasising on achieving the maximum speed for results delivery, utilising the full potential of multi-core parallel processing of state-of-the-art hardware. The energy consumption of the simulations is sustainable, 100% compensated by an on-site photovoltaic system with storage.

Team

AIRCOCFD is comprised of a compact team of experienced engineers and CFD specialists dedicated to providing high-quality simulation services. Our expertise spans over several years in the CFD and particularly in the Data Centre sector, ensuring we bring the best practices and insights to every project.

Director

The company was established in 2021 by Argyrios Papadopoulos, EngD.MSc.MEng. Argyrios, originally an MEng (Uni. of Surrey, UK) Civil Engineer with contractor experience, has specialised in CFD via an MSc in Building Physics and Services (TU/e, NL), gained an Engineering Doctorate in Smart Buildings & Cities (TU/e), and academic research experience on LES and wind effects on building ventilation systems (INRS France).

Argyrios got into the data centre sector in 2018 as a CFD specialist / Mechanical engineering consultant and ever since has been fully dedicated in enhancing the data centre cooling performance, via CFD simulations of a vast number of projects in EMEA & APAC. His multidisciplinary background and inherent strive towards sustainability make him fit to this role.
